Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975, is an American actress. Numerous awards have been handed out to her including the Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe, five Emmy Award nominations, as well as the BAFTA nomination. She is part of the Barrymore family of actors, and is the grandchild of John Barrymore. Barrymore was famous as a child actor with her role in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a turbulent childhood that was rife with alcohol and drug dependence, she wrote Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. Later, she was in a string of successful movies throughout the 1990s which included Poison Ivy Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After.
