Abigale Lee Miller bio
Abigale Lee Miller (born September 21, 1965) is a famous American choreographer as well as a dance instructor and reality TV star. She is the founder of the Abby Lee Dance Company, which was featured on the reality series Dance Moms for eight seasons. Miller pleaded guilty on June 27, 2016 to fraudulent bankruptcy in the felony category. Miller was sentenced for one and five years in federal prison. She was released on the 27th of March 2018. In April 2018 she was diagnosed with lymphoma, that is a type of cancer that renders it difficult to walk. In order to move about she relies on a wheelchair. Miller grew up around dance in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, an Pittsburgh suburb. She attended classes under the guidance of her mother at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. Miller was 14 when she was asked to choreograph and coaching duties for one of her mother's competitive dance teams. Miller eventually assumed control of the studio in 1995 and changed the name to it Reign Dance Productions. Miller became certified by Dance Masters of America and was a member of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter #10 in 1986 but her membership was cut off in February 2012 in the wake of DMA saying Miller's reality-TV show Dance Moms was "a total deflection of our dance instructors and their students . It's harmful to the profession of dance."
