  Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30, 1990, better known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is an American artist and rapper. The stage name is the name of his favorite uncle who has the first name and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his main inspiration Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, and also an agreement for publishing with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I.  The's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released on self-release. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album by the artist. The smash single "Antidote" was the album's lead track. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was the first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott released his second album in conjunction with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. He also released his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released late 2019 on Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. Scott's track "Franchise" which featured Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, debuted. Scott became the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs reach the number one spot within a mere decade in 2020.
